Robert L. Cowden, 93, of Mount Zion, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024, at Spang Crest in Lebanon.

Robert was born on Sept. 4, 1930, to the late Grover and Lillian (Garman) Cowden.

Robert was retired from Bethlehem Steel after 35 years. He was also an avid farmer who loved the land. He served his country from 1952-1954 in Germany.

He is survived by a sister, Anita Haulman; sister-in-law, Janet; niece, LeeAnn; and other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Myers Cowden; and two brothers, Gene and James.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Kimmerlings Cemetery, Lebanon.
