Rodney A. Hitz, 59, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.

Born in Lebanon on Feb. 20, 1967, he was the son of the late Walter W. Hitz Jr. and Anna R. (Miller) Hitz. He graduated from Annville-Cleona High School. He worked as a mason during his working career. Rodney enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cooking, and baking. Most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his companion, Lisa Kafader, of Lebanon; daughter, Ashley Hitz, of Lebanon; grandchildren, Annabelle and Asher; brothers, Barry L. Hitz, of Annville, and Gary A. Hitz, of Pine Grove; and sister, Barbara A. Lymaster, of Donaldson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald A. Hitz.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
