Rodney T. Beamesderfer, 48, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at his home. He was the husband of Amanda J. Sanger-Beamesderfer. On October 7th, they celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on February 8, 1973, he was the son of Sharon Strunk Beamesderfer and the late Gordon Beamesderfer. He was the owner/operator of Beamesderfer Trucking. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, landscaping, and especially spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by his sons Phillip P. Sanger, of Mineral, VA, Ryan J. Sanger-Beamesderfer and Matthew Z. Sanger-Beamesderfer, both at home; his daughter, Sophie L. Sanger-Beamesderfer, at home; brothers Paul Beamesderfer, of Myerstown and Ray Beamesderfer, serving in the US Navy; and sisters Jody Beamesderfer and Jenny Raub, both of Lebanon.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.
