Roger S. “Roagie” Adams Sr., a loving husband and father, passed away on Dec. 28, 2023, at the age of 63.

He was born on Aug. 21, 1960, in Liberty, GA, to his parents, Dennis S. Adams and Anneliese V. Adams (Hoffman).

Roger was a dedicated craftsman who spent many years working in the construction industry as a carpenter.

Outside of his work, Roger treasured his family above all else. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Carla Adams, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. Roger was a devoted father to his children, Lisa Adams, Lindsey Adams, and Roger Adams Jr., and stepson, Mark Fidler Jr., and his wife, Danielle, who were the pride and joy of his life. He took great delight in spending time with his six grandchildren, Elliott, Corrine, Skylar, Macey, Lexie, Autumn, Olivia, and Erin. Their laughter filled his heart with immense joy and brought him immeasurable happiness.

In addition to his immediate family, Roger is also survived by his brothers, Bob Adams and Drew Adams, step-brother, Darren Adams, and a host of other extended family members and friends who will deeply mourn his passing.

A funeral service to honor and remember Roger’s life will be held at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., on Jan. 3, 2024, at 1 p.m. Prior to the service, there will be a public viewing from 11 a.m. at the same location, where friends and loved ones can pay their respects and support the family during this difficult time.

As per Roger’s wishes, his remains will be cremated.

Roger S. Adams Sr. will be fondly remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his craft, and his kind and compassionate nature. His legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Roger’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
