Rolf Hans Christian Conzelmann, 90, of Lebanon passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at his home. He was the husband of Marilyn L. Mark Conzelmann. On July 26th, they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.

Born in Reading on September 12, 1929, he was the son of the late Georg and Freda Strähle Conzelmann. He had worked as a machinist at Bethlehem Steel. He also worked for Hauck Manufacturing, Reece’s, Marco Electric, and he was a greeter at Wal-Mart. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran and also attended St. James Lutheran. He was a member of the Lutheran Brotherhood. He enjoyed canning, baking, cooking, listening to classical music, Phillies baseball, gardening, working around the house and especially playing Legos with his great grandchildren. He loved skiing and was an alternate for the German Olympic Ski Jumping Team when he was 18. Rolf served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son James R. and his wife Debbie Conzelmann of Lebanon; daughters Cynthia L. wife of Eric May of Yucca Valley, CA, Krystal E. Achenbach of Pine Grove, Jody L. Volk of Colorado Springs, CO and Heidi R. wife of Michael Garlitz of Felton, PA; sister Ellen Grösshauser of Albstadt-2, Germany; as well as 15 grandchildren,15 great grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, Rt. 343 & Shirksville Rd. The viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will follow at the Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery.
