Roma M. Wood, 90, of Myerstown, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Stoneridge Poplar Run. She was the wife of Larry L. Wood, to whom she married on Sept. 1, 1957.
Born in Lickdale, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruth (Rhen) Ditzler. Roma worked as a secretary for Bethlehem Steel before working as a secretary for Hershey Medical Center. She enjoyed baking, eating out, shopping at Boscov’s, and traveling (her favorite destination was Disney World), and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Larry, she is survived by her sons, Kerry Wood, and wife, Pauline, and Brian Wood; grandchildren, Miranda, wife of Karl Vincent, Nicolas Wood, Morgan, wife of Isiah Davila, and Alex Wood; great-grandchildren, Kaiden Vincent, and Gabriel Vincent, Myla Davila, and a baby boy on the way; and sister, Kay Breidegan. Roma was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Ditzler; and sister, Verna Ebersole.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Inurnment will be private. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of her service at the funeral home.
