Romaine L. Carbutt, 92, of Palmyra, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Londonderry Village. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Fields, who passed away in 1990, Robert J. Willis, who passed away in 2006, and John E. Carbutt Jr., who passed away in 2016.

Romaine was born in Myerstown on Dec. 30, 1931, to the late Ernest E. and Anna Mary (Smaltz) Trautman.

She was a 1949 Lebanon High School graduate. She retired from San Giorgio/Hershey Pasta Group in Lebanon after 22 ½ years of working. She formerly attended The Church of the Good Shepherd and was a soloist in the Lebanon area and the Moravian Church for many years.

She is survived by her sons, Bradley Fields (Kareena), of Vancouver, WA, and Bruce Fields (Janet), of Lebanon; grandchildren, Michael Fields (Keely), Samantha Fields, Brandon Fields (Alex), Jennifer Feden, and Diane Tehansky (deceased); great-grandchildren, Nora and Maxine Fields, and Harper and Rex Fields; and siblings, Robert Trautman, Terry Trautman (Linda), Betty Bartal, Karen Bennett (Ed), and Marlene Carpenter (Tony).

She was preceded in death by her sister, June Garloff.
