Ronald B. “Ronnie” Luciotti, a loving husband and father, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2024, at the age of 81, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, with family members by his side.

Born in Lebanon on Sept. 16, 1942, Ronald was the devoted husband to Bonita nee Shiffer Luciotti, with whom he would’ve celebrated 55 years of marriage in May.

He was the father of an adopted daughter, Alisa V. nee Luciotti Brewer, wife of Steven Brewer, of Amherst, MA; father of Diona Luciotti, fiance of Douglas E. Smith, of Lebanon; and grandfather of three grandsons. Ronald will be sadly missed by his half-siblings, Dawn nee Ebur Dennis, Rebecca Luciotti, Sheila nee Luciotti Lymaster, Mario Luciotti, and Gianna nee Luciotti Bleyer; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Belman J. Luciotti, Isabel A. nee Scherb Ebur; stepfather, Charles F. Ebur; stepmother, Irma nee Leonard Luciotti; and a stepsister, Kathy Brown.

A highly respected veteran, Ron served in the United States Air Force from March 6, 1964, through March 2, 1968, in Florida and Bitburg, Germany, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Afterward, he was well-known for the 55 years he dedicated to Lebanon County’s water treatment, 27 of those years were spent as the plant’s superintendent. He played an integral part in the county’s water treatment upgrades to multiple intake stations and buildings, including the rebuilding of the county’s water reservoir, the Christian E Siegrist Dam, formerly known as High Bridge.

Ronald was known for his passion for golf, his impressive skills as a state champion archer, enjoyed rifle and pistol shooting, and was an avid outdoorsman who belonged to many area clubs, including Jonestown Fish and Game, Hemlock Archery Club, where he served as the club’s president for a few years, the Lebanon County Conservation District, and was a Legionnaire and member of the VFW. His commitment and dedication to the organizations he belonged to and his interest in many hobbies, including creative wood duck carving, collecting and listening to 50s music, sharing the county’s history, taking, viewing, and sharing photos, and anything outdoors, all of which were a testament to his character, good nature, and humor for which he will be sadly missed.

A ceremony to celebrate Ronald’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 236 Cumberland St., Lebanon, with a visitation at 12:30 p.m., a funeral service at 1 p.m., and a graveside service at 2:30 p.m., where he will be laid to rest.

Ronald B. Luciotti will be cherished, never forgotten, and forever missed by his family and friends. and remembered for his strong work ethic, passion, creativity in his hobbies, and the fun guy he was to spend time with. His legacy will live on through the memories and good times of all who knew him.
