Ronald E. Long, 64, of Jonestown, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. He was the husband of Sonya L. Long. Born in Lebanon, PA, on May 22, 1961, Ronald was a son of the late James and Romaine (Smith) Long.

Ronald was a mechanic at Keystone Weaving Mills. He enjoyed watching football, fishing, and the fresh air — whether that be hitting the open road and driving somewhere or just sitting outside in the fresh air, taking everything in.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Jeremy Long, husband of Alison, Nathan Long, Brooke Long, and Chantelle Long; five grandchildren: Aurora, Jason, Wyatt, Atlas, and Theo; two brothers: Neal and Jim; one sister: Cathy Lynch; and several nieces and nephews.
