Ronald R. Klepper, 75, a devoted husband, father, and respected Corporal Officer in the prison industry, peacefully passed away on May 23, 2024, at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Hospital.

Born on Feb. 11, 1949, in Harrisburg to the late Leroy Wolfensburger and Lydia Daub nee Klepper.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, billiards, and cornhole. He was a veteran of the Army in the Vietnam War. Ronald’s dedication extended beyond his profession, as evidenced by his role as the Commander for the VFW Post #23, where he served diligently for three years. His commitment to his community and fellow veterans will always be remembered and cherished.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Lorraine Klepper; daughters, Shelly Cook, and companion, Walter Gundrum Jr., Bobbi Jo Weaver, and spouse, Brian, and Jessica Barr, and spouse, Tim; stepdaughters, Lorralei Hoerner, and spouse, James, and Trudi Umbrell, and companion, Ephrain Alica; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Cory Klepper, David Wolfensburger, and Diane Shoemaker.

Graveside services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. A celebration of life will be held at the VFW Post #23, Lebanon, on June 15, 2024, at 1 p.m.
