Rosalie F. Beard, 87, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.

Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Blanche (Lauer) Hartman. Rosalie graduated from Cornwall High School and Lancaster General School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for over 25 years at the Lebanon VA Medical Center before her retirement. Rosalie was an avid Phillies fan, loved traveling to Disney World, gardening, and shopping at Boscov’s. She was Roman Catholic by faith.

Surviving her are two children, Thomas M. Beard and Lisa, wife of Randy McKillop; four grandchildren, Amanda, Caitlin, Nathan, and Nicole; one brother, Harry Hartman, and wife, Ann; and one sister, Grace, wife of James Gearhart. Rosalie was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori A. Haas; former husband, Thomas R. Beard; and longtime companion of over 20 years, Richard Fortna.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery, Cornwall. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of her service at the funeral home.
