Rose M. Mittermeier, 73, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Glenn J. Mittermeier Sr.

Born in Lebanon on May 14, 1952, Rose was the daughter of the late Henry P. Sr. and Gertrude (Smith) Wallace. She retired from Bell & Evans. She was a member of the Citizens Avon Ladies Auxiliary and the Avon Playground Association. For many years, she served as fire police for South Lebanon Township. She loved doing word search games on the computer, tent camping, and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Rose is survived by her daughters, Yvonne L., wife of Michael Herr, of Lebanon, and Wanda L., wife of Randy Dohner, of Lebanon; stepchildren, Michelle Jones, of KY, Teresa (Richard) Sattazahn, of Palmyra, Lisa (David) Shanks, of KY, Glen Mittermeier Jr., of Pittsburg, and Amy (Dan) Dominek, of Heritage; brother, Henry P. Wallace Jr., of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Rose was preceded in death by her sister, Cora A. Evans.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Please come prepared to share your memories of Rose. Inurnment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Township.
