Rose M. Yeagley, 85, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024, at the Lebanon Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Earnest C. “Ernie” Yeagley.
Born in Palmyra on Oct. 3, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Paul Donmoyer and Mary Davis Donmoyer Watson.
She worked as a secretary for Dutch Valley Food Dist. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Rose was also a member of the Jonestown Senior Center, where she had been the treasurer. She loved to travel, bowl, play card games, spend time with her family and friends, go on bus trips to see shows, and, along with her husband, go to amusement parks.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth P., husband of Debra Yeagley, of Lebanon; grandchildren, Chad M. (Barbara) Yeagley, Amber L. (Justin) Seasholtz, and Brett A. (Amber L.) Yeagley; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Kern, wife of Richard Kern, of Annville.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp.
At Rose’s request, please do not wear black to her funeral.
