Rose R. Krammes, 103 ½ years old, of Cornwall Manor and formerly of Fredericksburg, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at Cornwall Manor. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence M. Krammes for 75 years.

Born in Schuylkill Haven on June 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lucy Dewald Moser.

She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, and shortly after, she attended beauty school. Following her education, Rose worked as an administrative assistant to the superintendent of the Northern Lebanon High School until her retirement.

Rose’s overwhelming compassion, generous nature, and heart-warming personality were abundantly evident throughout all the activities and charitable work she was involved in during her lifetime. Rose was an active member of the Lionette’s, and she was heavily involved with her churches and at Cornwall Manor. At St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Schuylkill Haven, she was a Sunday school teacher. At St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, she was heavily involved in activities that supported the church and the surrounding community.

Rose Krammes was beloved by all and garnered the nickname “Rosie” for all the joy she brought into the lives of everyone she knew. Even though she will be dearly missed, we know that she is now reunited with her darling husband, Clarence, the love of her life, for eternity.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Route 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
