Rose V. Troutman, 96, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Robert G. Troutman, who died in August of 2006. She was the last of her immediate family.
Born in Muir on July 7, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Ida (Hand) Jobe.
Rose and Bob lived at Fort Indiantown Gap for 30 years, where they raised two children and later worked for the federal government on the military base for 20 years.
Rose is survived by a daughter, Debra Strausbaugh, of East Berlin; a son, James, husband of Cindy Troutman, of East Prospect; grandsons, Dylan Strausbaugh, of East Berlin, Jacob Strausbaugh, and fiancée, Becky Tatham, of Biglerville, Joshua Jacobs, and his partner, Rainy, of York, and Micah Jacobs, of Seattle, Washington; four great-grandchildren, Ella and Ryan Strausbaugh, and Leo and Luke Strausbaugh; and many nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. Inurnment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
