Rosellen T. (Brill) Ayala, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away at Baptist Memorial Center South in Jacksonville, FL, on Nov. 10, 2024.
Rosellen was born in West Lebanon Township on Aug. 14, 1958, to the late Ralph and Mary (Brandt) Brill, where she attended Saint Luke’s United Methodist Church.
She graduated from Annville-Cleona High School in 1976, after which she joined the United States Army. During her time in the Army, she served at the 5th General Hospital in Germany from 1976-1980 and the 194th Armored Brigade Field Hospital in Fort Knox, KY, from 1980-1982. She worked as an LPN from 1983 until retirement in 2022 at various assisted living facilities, including Saint Annes Assisted Living in Miami, FL.
Her greatest passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren, who were her life. She also enjoyed crime dramas.
Rosellen is survived by her children, Zulema Rojas, of Jacksonville, FL, and Yamilet Rojas-Silveira (Ken), of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Gabriel and Kayden; siblings, Rita Gill, of Lebanon, PA, Ruth Spang (Donald), of Reistville, PA, and Russell Brill Sr., of Norton, KS; as well as 10 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors. There will be a viewing from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
