Russell E. Ebling, Jr., 85, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at his home. He was the husband of the late Gail G. Doster Ebling.

Born in Jonestown on December 28, 1935, he was the son of the late Russell and Esther Ebling. Russell had worked for the former Quaker Alloy and Fontana Steel, and he retired as a welder from Morgan Welding in Bethel. He enjoyed hunting deer and turkey, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, and he especially loved being in the outdoors.

He is survived by his children Theresa A. (Christopher) Hylton, of Lebanon, Joanne M. Knoche, of Lebanon, Brian R. (Joanne) Ebling, of Myerstown, and Eric R. (Donna) Ebling, of Lebanon; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp.
