Ruth A. Flowers, 96, of Myerstown, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Paul R. Flowers, Sr., who passed away on June 25, 1987.

Born in Annville on August 20, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna (Donmoyer) Heisey. She was a member of the Palmyra First Evangelical Congregational Church. Ruth worked for the sanitation crew at Hershey Foods until she retired. She enjoyed games, card games, BINGO, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Robert A. Flowers, of Plano, TX; daughters Ruth K. “Kathy” wife of Eric Smith, of Palmyra and Pamela M. wife of Eugene Jones, of Myerstown; eleven grandchildren, several greatgrandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and brother Mark Heisey, of TX. She was preceded in death by a son Paul R. Flowers, Jr., daughter Linda L. McKlveen, and sisters Grace Lick and Ethel Tierney.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at the Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. A viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
