Ruth Ann Brandt passed away on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, at Cedar Haven. She was born on July 6, 1940, to the late George Gingrich and Pearl Gassert. 

She was a member of Saint Luke’s Methodist Church in West Lebanon. She was a great homemaker and mother. She also worked at her son-in-law’s business, where she greeted customers and cleaned.

Ruth was an amazing cook and taught her children and grandchildren how to make many of her specialties. She loved spending time doing yard work, going to the casino with her husband, and taking trips to A/C with her daughters and friends. She will be remembered for being a great mom and grandmom and for always being there for her children and grandkids. Anyone who knew her knew just how supportive she was and could always count on her.

She is survived by her loving husband, John H. Brandt, Sr., with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage; her children, Debra Horn, Donna White, and John Brandt, Jr.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be at Christman’s Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with services immediately following. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
