Ruth Ann received her ultimate healing as she went to be with the Lord on Thursday evening, Jan. 28, 2021. Surrounded by family, she peacefully entered into the arms of Jesus.

Ruth Ann was a woman of great faith, strength, and perseverance, which she displayed throughout her life, but especially during her battle with cancer. Her faith sustained her as she trusted in God and He provided. Perhaps her greatest quality was her compassion for others. She embodied the same love, kindness, and patience that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ does.

Born in Manheim, PA on June 7, 1953, Ruth Ann was a daughter of the late John and Nora (Faus) Herr. She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Kelly, Jr., a daughter, Sarah E. Kelly, fiancée of Peter Meyer, a sister, Doris M. Whitt, wife of Paul, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at Salem Reformed Independent Church, 8361 Lancaster Ave., Bethel, PA. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the church. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
