Ruth Emma Ebur, daughter of Kathryn Bordlemay Gettle and Samuel Gettle, was born on September 16, 1927, and was welcomed into heaven on March 22, 2021.

Ruth graduated from the Lebanon High School class of 1945 and attended the Kochenderfer United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for 50 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, walking, camping, and boating with family. She was employed by Peiffers Foodland until the birth of their first child and then became a mother and homemaker.

Ruth is survived by her husband Paul, they would have celebrated their 72nd anniversary on April 10th, sons, Tom (wife Gail) and Doug, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Miller and Ethel Yocum, and brother, Samuel Gettle, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on March 30 at the Kochenderfer United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. and the Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m. Graveside gathering will take place following the service.
