Ruth E. Scheid, 98, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Lebanon Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Ethel (Thomas) Scheid. Ruth worked for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission as a secretary for 35 years until her retirement. She loved animals and especially her dogs.

Ruth is survived by her sister, Nancy L. Shenk, of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11 a.m., from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of her service at the funeral home.
