Ruth S. “Ruthie” Eby, 80, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Cedar Haven.

Ruthie was born in Lebanon on July 10, 1943, to the late Homer and Ruth (Light) Schreiber.

She was the owner of the Town and County Clothing store in Lebanon. She worked for the CIA and was a legal secretary. When she was younger, she attended Salem Lutheran Church. She loved her cat and dogs, did needlework, and enjoyed going to Mount Gretna. Ruthie would travel to Seeley’s Bay, Ontario, with the Contrari Club. The friends would travel to the cabin in the summer, where they enjoyed fishing and boating.

Surviving are a sister, Mary Feeman, of Lititz, PA, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Behney.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be private. There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
