Ruthanna Fay Sheffy, 78, of Pine Grove, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 3, 2022. She was the wife of James F. Sheffy of Pine Grove. They just celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on May 13th.

Born in Annville on January 28, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Carrie (Westhafer) Rupp.

She worked as a Pari-mutuel Clerk at Penn National Racecourse. She enjoyed the beach, Bingo, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Louise A. wife of David Pessall of Jonestown, Jennifer J. Sheffy of Myerstown, and Debra K. wife of Terry Dalton of Stuart, VA; son Jeffrey L. husband of Kathy Sheffy of Jonestown; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister Sharon Irwin of Lebanon; brother Donald Rupp of Bangor.

She was preceded in death by a sister Martha Zellers.

Memorial services will be on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
