Sally C. Keaney, of Cornwall, PA, ascended to heaven, joining her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025.

Born in Pittsburgh on May 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Elizabeth “Betty” Coutts. Married to the late Joseph C. Keaney Jr. on April 15, 1955, their children are Kathy Snavely (Clifford), Mary Twombly (Lee), Patricia Wallett (David), and Joe III (the late Kara Dent). They were blessed with grandchildren, Robert Hill (Lauren), Andrew Wallett, Jordan Ball (Ardie), Jake Keaney, and Emma Keaney, and great-grandchildren, Addyson and David Hill, Virginia and Grayson Ball, and many more by marriage.

A proud graduate of Grove City College, Sally left her position as a church secretary to focus on her role as a wife and mother, lavishing her love and care on her family. She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, bible study instructor, youth group leader, Manor Shop coordinator, Sunday school teacher, Lebanon Rescue Mission mentor, and more. Sally was also a faithful prayer warrior. She belonged to Faith Baptist Church in Lebanon, PA. Her pastimes included playing Scrabble, Bridge, Pinochle, and Mah Jongg, doing jigsaw puzzles, and reading.

Sally will be buried alongside her beloved husband in Pittsburgh at the convenience of her family. Her loved ones wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Cornwall Manor’s Corson Hall and Health Center, particularly the Northview First Floor staff, for their loving and dedicated care of Sally.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted by the Cornwall Manor Benevolent Care Fund, P.O. Box 125, Cornwall, PA 17016.
