Samara M. “Sam” Yeagley, 23, of Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at home.
Born on March 18, 2003, in Lebanon, she was a daughter of Joshua L. Yeagley, and his fiancé, Kristin Zimmerman, Angela Haag Yeagley, and the stepdaughter of Wayne Ogburn.
She was a 2021 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School and received a Certificate in Grooming from Cindy’s Canine Companions Salon and School in Bethel.
She worked for Mar-K Farms in Pine Grove, Blackstone Farm in Pine Grove, and, most recently, Tractor Supply in Pine Grove.
Samara was a farm girl and loved animals, especially her beloved horse, Angel. She collected Breyer horses and was a very talented artist, having her artwork displayed at the high school during the art and woodworking exhibit.
Preceding her in death were her grandfather, Vernald Yeagley Jr.; and uncle, Frederick Yeagley.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her brother, Xaviar Yeagley, of Pine Grove; sisters, Mackenzie, and her husband, Ammon Johnson, of Lebanon, and Annabella Ogburn, of Pine Grove; nephews, Michael and Wyatt Johnson; grandparents, Caridad Yeagley, and Donald and Marian Haag, all of Lebanon; companion, Christian Rudy; beloved horse, Angel; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with Ricky Ney officiating. There will be a visitation on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to her brother, Xaviar Yeagley, 1029 Suedberg Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963, in her memory to care for her horse and other animals.
