Sandra L. “Sandy” Heffelfinger, 82, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at Lebanon Skilled Nursing Facility. She was the wife of Woodrow E. “Woody” Heffelfinger, with whom she celebrated 20 years of marriage.

Sandy was born in Lebanon on Aug. 26, 1942, to the late Donald Brenner Sr. and Anna (Witman) Brenner.

She was a 1960 Lebanon High School graduate. She retired from Fulton Bank, where she worked in the Trust Department. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. She was a member of The Eagles Club, where she was a chaplain, St. Gertrude’s, The Orioles, and The Navy Club. She was a Penn State Fan. In her younger days, she was a majorette in the band, and when she had her daughters, she became active with the band and became an instructor. Sandy loved bowling, having bowled for over 50 years. She was a head cashier at Boscov’s. She helped to open several of their stores.

Surviving are her daughters, Paige Phillips (Kurt), of Lebanon, Pam Coletti (Craig), of Myerstown, and Patrice Stagliano (Damon), of Ambler; four grandchildren, Mark, Jaime, Bryce, and Peyton; five great-grandchildren, Jackson, Evelyn, Nolan, Noah, and Pearson; and siblings, John Brenner (Pam), of Lebanon, and Donna Smith (Richard), of Hampton, VA.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Brenner Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be at Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, Lebanon. There will be a visitation from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
