Sarah E. Webber, 93, of Marion Township, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Juniper Village of Lebanon. She was the widow of Richard A. “Dick” Webber, who passed away on Sept. 9, 2014.

Born in Jackson Township on Oct. 23, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Jacob F. and Mary R. (Long) Long.

Sarah was a 1948 graduate of Myerstown High School and was employed as a senior packaging operator at the former Sterling Drug, Inc.-Myerstown, for 30 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Millcreek Lutheran Church-Newmanstown and the Blue Mountain 50+Group in Bethel.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Susan M. (Webber), wife of David Staaby, of Marion Township; sons, Bruce R. Webber, husband of Jeana (Ortenzi), of Marion Township, and Brian A. Webber, husband of Debra (Miller), of Richland; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, John J. Webber, on Feb. 14, 1950; and brother, Jacob Cleon Long, on Feb. 13, 2025.

Viewing with family and friends will be held from 10-10:30 a.m., with services beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, all to be held at Millcreek Lutheran Church, 221 N. Sheridan Road, Newmanstown, Pennsylvania 17073. Interment in Christ Lutheran Cemetery-Womelsdorf.
