Sharon L. Weiman, 75, of Lebanon, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at MS Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of William E. Weiman, with whom she celebrated 34 years of marriage.
Sharon was born in Jonestown on Aug. 22, 1949, to the late Raymond and Jennie (Fittery) Laub. She was a 1967 Northern Lebanon High School graduate. She worked for Lebanon Paper Box for nine years and then retired from Bayer Corporation in 2010 after 20 years of service as a machine operator.
Sharon was a member of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of the VFW in Lebanon. She enjoyed shopping, going to Knoebel’s, baking, going to family picnics, spending time with her beloved cat, Stripey, feeding the birds, ducks, chipmunks, and squirrels, going on Sunday drives with her husband, traveling to Annie’s Ice Cream in Campbelltown, and going to Rehoboth Beach.
Sharon was known to always have a smile on her face, the time spent with her family was her favorite pastime, and she had the biggest smile on her face.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her daughter, Kelly Gerena (Devon), of Lebanon; grandchildren, Tasia Ortiz (Cobi) and Rashaan Bennett; great-grandchild, Zalaynee Ortiz; great-grandchild on the way, Whillow Lorraine Ortiz; brothers, Randy Laub, of Lebanon, and Ronald Laub, of Jonestown; sister, Pat Mengel (John), of Jonestown; several nieces and nephews; step-daughter, Heather M. Betz (Scott), of Lebanon; step-grandchildren, Briana, Haley, Madison, and Ryan; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a cancer research program of your choosing.
