Sheila M. Donmoyer, 62, of Annville, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Barry D. Donmoyer. On September 10, they celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary.
Born in Lebanon on April 11, 1960, she was the daughter of James and Gasena Hock Light of Lebanon.
For over 20 years, she worked as a nurse at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She also worked alongside her husband on the family dairy farm. She attended the Salem Walmer’s Union Church and was a member of the Ono Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Twin East Hanover Grange. She loved collecting Longaberger baskets, antiquing, driving to Lancaster and visiting produce stands, and also going to the Reistville Market on Tuesdays.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she is survived by her son, John D., husband of Megan Donmoyer, of Annville; daughter, Katie M., wife of Joseph Weisenberger, of Woodbine, MD; sisters, Joyce, wife of Jay Bachman, of Jonestown, and Nancy, wife of Doug Dresch, of Lebanon; her grandchildren, Hazel and Ida Donmoyer, and James, Ellie, and Eva Dumas, and her mother and father-in-law, Mildred and Fred Donmoyer.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the Salem Evangelical Cemetery, Ono.
