Sherry Sue Brown, 50, of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023, at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Maynard E. Brown. They would have celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on Oct. 5, 2023.

Born in Lebanon on Dec. 29, 1972, she was the daughter of Elvin H. and Linda Mae (Kreiser) Mease of Jonestown.

Sherry graduated from Northern Lebanon High School with the class of 1990. She worked as a house parent at the Milton Hershey Schools. She had a strong faith in God, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she is survived by her children, Micah E. Brown, of San Antonio, TX, Annaliese K. Brown, of Jonestown, Gabirel Mathew Harvey Brown, of Jonestown, Quintin L., husband of Samamtha Brown, of Lebanon, Lyarica T. Brown, of Las Vegas, NV, and Patches M. Treat, of Knoxville, PA; grandchildren, Bailey C. Brown, Ryker A. Brown, Pyper Treat, and Grace Treat; and sisters Marla Rugel, Kelly Johnson, and Heather Troutman.

Memorial services will be on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at the Living Christ Family Center, 169 Valley Dr., Fredericksburg. Inurnment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
