Shirley A. Evans, Myerstown, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 in the Myerstown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Bruce D. Evans.
Shirley was born in Harrisburg on December 10, 1938, a daughter of the late Jonas Shoemaker and Beulah Mae Bennetch. She was a retired dietary aid having worked for the Myerstown ECC Home.
Shirley enjoyed flower gardens and was an avid Phillies fan. She was actively involved in her family’s varied interests over the years and she loved to cook big meals for her family to enjoy. Her most cherished time was spent with her grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by sons: Scott M. Evans and wife Crystal; Keith D. Evans and wife Mary; Todd R. Evans and wife Julia; grandchildren: Jared Evans, Connor Evans, Trevor Evans, Annika Evans, Gabrielle Evans; step-grandchildren: Sarah Ostrich and Casey Weiss; and step great-granddaughter: Tegan Ostrich.
Visitation will be held on Monday April 13, 2026 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Interment will be private.
