Shirley Ann Haak, 86, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Sept. 14, 2025, at Amoroso Healthcare & Rehab.

Shirley was born on Oct. 31, 1938, to the late Frederick and Viola Smith Bivens in Saxton, PA. Shirley filled the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and love. A dedicated bookkeeper for Glad Tidings Assembly of God, she was a devoted member of the church before becoming a cherished member of the Harrisburg First Assembly of God. Her faith played an integral role in her life, and she fostered a nurturing spirit within her community. She was passionate about gardening, adored birds, enjoyed sewing, and had a remarkable talent for capturing memories through photography. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, who were her greatest joy.

Shirley is survived by her beloved husband, David S. Haak; their daughters, Judy Hays, and her husband, Jim, and Sandra Goodwin, and her husband, William; grandchildren, Jessica Sibbett (Jeff), Jaclyn Cooper (Steve), Kristen Blair (Mike), and Cassandra Patus (Jared); as well as 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Carol Lentvorsky, James Smith, and Richard Smith.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Shirley’s life. A visitation will be held on Sept. 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Christman’s Funeral Home Inc. A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. She will be laid to rest during a graveside service at Mount Lebanon Cemetery following the service.

Shirley will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and a friend to many. Her life was a testament to the beauty of family and faith, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
