Shirley J. Balaster, 90, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at MS Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Paul P. Balaster, with whom she celebrated 77 years of marriage.
Shirley was born in Newmanstown on June 22, 1935, to the late Leroy and Cora Marie (Hollinger) Sheetz. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed entertaining her family and friends, cooking, baking, and camping.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her children, Dennis Balaster, Rick Balaster, and Donna Walmer; grandchildren, Tammy, Kayla, Josh, Jesse, and Jenna; great-grandchildren, Emily, Brooklyn, Hannah, and Atlan; sister, Mary Wike; and daughter-in-law, Lynndel Leinbach Balaster.
She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Jordan; brother, John Sheetz; and son-in-law, David Walmer.
Services will be held privately.
