Shirley Y. Groff, 89, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at Myerstown Nursing & Rehab.

Born in Jonestown, PA, on April 19, 1936, to Burton and Oneida Morgan, she attended Bethel Township High School, graduating in 1954. She married Jacob A. Groff in April 1955. She worked for many years at Harpel’s in Lebanon. She enjoyed family time, crocheting, and bus trips to Atlantic City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob, in 1972; son, John; brothers, Robert, Charles, Jack, Ronald, Gerald, and Larry; and sister, Carolyn Morgan. She is survived by her sister, Rita Morgan; and sons, Michael, husband of Gina, Steven, husband of Carol, and Brian, husband of Jodi. She has eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.
