Shirley Zimmerman Fausnacht, 87, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at Madonna Meadows Assisted Living in Rochester, MN.

Born June 9, 1933 in Pottsville, PA to the late Walter Edwin and Irene Clara (Sheetz) Zimmerman, she was a graduate of Lebanon High School class of 1951, serving as treasurer for 73 years. She was also employed as bank manager at Lebanon Valley Trust, eventually, as assistant to the bank president and, later, as office manager for Lesher Mack Sales and Service.

She was married to the late Harold “Lindy” Fausnacht for 50 years until his death. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dolores Jane, and a son, Donald.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Zimmerman, and her children, Donna Fausnacht (William) Dunn, Kenneth B. (Kathy) Fausnacht, and Richard A. (Michele) Fausnacht. She was the proud grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of 10. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and cooking as well as being an active member of the First E.C. Church and Sunday School for most of her life. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with family and traveling for family events.

A private service will be held Jan. 29, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Rohland Funeral Home followed by interment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and First E.C. Church.
