Stanley A. Wentling Jr., 96, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Palmyra, he was a son of the late Stanley A. Wentling Sr. and Barbara (Harbaugh) Wentling.

Stan graduated from Palmyra High School in 1944 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Upon returning from the war, he attended Lebanon Valley College and then graduated from Michigan State University in 1950. Stan then went to the Columbia Institute of Chiropractic and practiced in New York. Stan’s retail career started in Palm Beach, FL, where he worked as a regional manager for Gucci. His career with Gucci spanned 30 years, where he worked with the Gucci family and met many famous people during this tenure. Stan loved going to the casino during his later years.

He is survived by Thomas E. Forbes; and several nieces and nephews.

Stan was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbert and James Wentling; and five sisters, Ruth Tritch, Mildred Kreider, Vera Hazen, Dorothy Yokum, and L. Christine Santarelli.

Private services will be held at the convenience of his family.
