Stefania Heisey, 76, of Myerstown, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Peter M. Heisey, who were married for 22 years.
Born in Trier, Germany, on March 10, 1948, she was the cherished daughter of the late John and Parania (Derkaz) Gluszko.
Stefania, “Stef,” was a 1966 graduate of Lebanon High School and was employed at the Bayer Company for 45 years prior to retiring. She attended the First Baptist Church of Lebanon with her family and continued to be an active member, attending Tuesday morning Bible studies. She was a member of the Myerstown Senior Center and loved gardening, flowers, and birdwatching. She enjoyed sharing her homemade cooking and baked goods with friends and family, most notably known for her pies. She also did a lot of traveling.
Stefania is survived by her son, Peter John Heisey, of Lebanon; sister, Anna, wife of Thomas McMaster, of Cornwall; brother, Peter Gluszko, husband of Sandra, of Mount Gretna; niece, Victoria Gluszko; as well as additional nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m., with a service beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, all to be held at First Baptist Church of Lebanon, 20 Linden Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be held at Mount Lebanon Cemetery-Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church at the above-stated address. Grose Funeral Home, Inc.-Myerstown is in charge of arrangements.
