Stella S. Heim, 88, of Lebanon, formerly of Myerstown, died Monday, June 14, 2021, at Spang Crest, Lebanon.
Born in Myerstown on December 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Carrie (Binner) Schnoke. She was the wife of George V. Heim, who died on March 10, 2018.
A 1950 graduate of Myerstown High School, Stella was a Member of Myerstown UCC. She was employed as a sewing machine operator. Stella started working in sewing factories in 1950 after she graduated from high school. She was also employed at Mt. Aetna Manufacturing Company, Mt. Aetna Garment Company, Publix, and S. Kantor Company, from where she retired on June 29, 2001. Stella enjoyed putting scrapbooks together of her relatives, and she worked on ancestry for both sides of the family.
Stella is survived by a sister, Betty, wife of Leroy Felty, of Lebanon, and a brother, Elwood, husband of Eleanor Schnoke, of Myerstown. She was preceded in death by sisters, Pearl Emery, and Ruth Scipioni, and a niece, Tina Scipioni.
A viewing will be held Monday, June 21, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Services and interment are private at the convenience of the family.
