Stephen T. “Steve” Okonieski, 92, of Fredericksburg, died on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at his home.

He was born on Friday, November 28, 1930, to the late Stanley Okonieski and Mary Okonieski nee Papciak in Wapwallopen, PA.

He was a veteran of the Marine Corps in the Korean War. Steve was married for 64 years to Corrine, graduated from Penn State University, and was the Transportation Construction Manager for the Department of Transportation.

Surviving are wife, Corrine V. Okonieski nee Burns; daughters, Yvonne, Colleen, and Kimberly; and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his siblings.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
