Stephen W. Thomas, 71, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at Neffsville Nursing & Rehab. He was the husband of Sharlette A. (Sabal) Thomas. Born in Trinidad and Tobago on Sept. 28, 1954, Stephen was a son of the late Oneil and Barly Thomas.
A vibrant soul who carried the rhythm of the islands in every step, Stephen was never more at home than on a crowded dance floor. From the infectious energy of Carnival to the swaying melodies of a Sunday evening parang, he lived life as one continuous song. Whether it was a sharp chip down the road or a graceful turn at a family wedding, Stephen’s spirit shone brightest when the music started, leaving behind a legacy of joy, movement, and an echoing beat that will forever remain in our hearts.
In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by his children, Salwa Thomas, Carol Thomas, Daquan Thomas, Tia White, and Candance White; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Tio, Maureen, Tharo, and Clarence; many nieces and nephews; and stepdaughters, Sharaybia, Alecia, and Ellie. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Thomas.
A viewing will be held on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. The family welcomes your memories and messages in Thompson Funeral Home’s online guest book at thompsonfuneralhomelebanon.com.
