Steven H. Freundlich, 81, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at his home. He was the husband of the late Rachel M. Garcia.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, on July 11, 1942, he was the son of the late Sam and Anne Freundlich.
Following high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He then retired from the Hartford Insurance Co., where he had worked as a computer programmer. He was a member of the Jonestown Perseverance Fire Co. and the Fredericksburg American Legion.
He is survived by his son, Joe Freundlich, and daughters, Susie F. Freundlich and Eleanor F. Freundlich, all of New Britain, CT; and his long-time close friends, JoAnn and Curt Hoke, of Bethel, Tommy Skin, of VA, and Dave and Nancy Pickett, of Fredericksburg.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
