Susan Barbara Miller, 82, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on Feb. 4, 2026, at Camp Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Lebanon, PA, on Sept. 8, 1943, Susan was the daughter of the late Walter Lowy and Mary (Dellinger) Lowy.
She was a 1961 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. Susan was employed by JCPenney and later worked at and retired from New Penn Motor Express in 2013. She had a strong work ethic and made lasting friendships at both places.
Susan is survived by her children, John J. Miller (Monica), of Hanahan, SC, Carolyn S. Brown (Frank), of Mechanicsburg, PA, Paul E. Miller, of Coatesville, PA, and Heather J. Snyder, of Mifflinburg, PA. She has nine grandchildren, Lauren Sakowski (Eric), Cara Martin (David), Aric Aumond (Lauren), Julia Miller, Victoria Miller, Salem Weaver, Savannah Snyder, Samuel Snyder, and Lucy Snyder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Susan was an only child, but had many “sisters.” She cherished and nurtured many long-term relationships. She was a kind person who helped and opened her home to many people throughout her lifetime. Susan lived well, enjoying the simple things in life. She loved going to concerts, local theater, movies, and reading. She had special talents in hair cutting and sewing. Her children’s friends knew her as “the cool mom.”
Susan’s greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family, celebrating every birthday and holiday. She was a wonderful Mom and Grammy who loved and was loved unconditionally.
She had a special place in her heart for her dogs, Rainbow and Cleo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, at St. Cecilia’s Church, 120 E. Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 9-10 a.m. at the church.
