Terry Lee Oxenreider, 86, of Lebanon, formerly of Newmanstown, passed gracefully into God’s care on June 6, 2025. He was the husband of Barbara L. (Keppley) Oxenreider, with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage in January.

Born in Myerstown, he was the son of the late Howard and Ruth (Hippert) Oxenreider. A 1956 ELCO graduate, he was also a non-combat veteran of the United States Air Force. Employed for many years as a mechanic at Raybestos/Raymark in Manheim, Terry was a life member of the Millcreek Rod and Gun Club, for whom he served as a hunter safety instructor for many years. He was a barbershopper with the Singing Cedar Chorus of Lebanon for more than 50 years, an avid Phillies fan, a cornerstone of Host Church in Bernville, and a friend to all.

Pop-pop’s career and personal achievements are admirable in themselves, but he will mostly be missed for his humanity, passion for life, and all-encompassing love for his family and friends. A long life still seems all too short when lived so faithfully in the service of others. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him, while we are consoled by the knowledge that his selfless kindness, compassion, and love for others will last beyond his earthly body.

In addition to his wife, Terry is survived by his daughter, Joy, wife of Michael Stauffer, of Cornwall; and son, Thomas, husband of Anne (Haring) Oxenreider, of Black Mountain, North Carolina. His grandchildren include Daniel Stauffer, husband of Melinda, Ryan Stauffer, husband of Leah, Eric Stauffer, partner to Amanda Hilderbrandt, Haven Oxenreider, partner to Morgan Reed, and Jaydin Oxenreider. Great-grandchildren, Camille, Lydia, Clifford, and Lucy, were also greatly loved by Terry. Also surviving are his sister, Judy, wife of Glenn Gogets, of Richland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Host Church, 80 Host Church Road, Bernville, PA 19506. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Host Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Host Church, 80 Host Church Road, Bernville, PA 19506.
