Theda G. Gibson, a resident of Edgewater, FL, and formerly of Lebanon, PA, was born on Feb. 1, 1934, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Nov. 8, 2025. Over the last 91 years, Theda lived a life full of warmth, devotion, and joy, leaving behind a legacy of love that will endure for generations.

She was a cherished mother to four children: Robert Gibson, and his wife, Frances, of Pennsylvania, Ivy Jo Gibson, of Pennsylvania, Jeffry Gibson, and his wife, Lori, of Pennsylvania, and Crist Gibson, and his wife, Kim, of Florida. She was also a proud grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her family grew to include 15 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren. How wonderful that she was surrounded by so much love, and how lucky we all were to share that love with her.

Theda loved spending time with her family, cooking and baking, and relaxing while watching old game shows. You could always count on receiving a card from her on your special days. She retired from Hershey Chocolate Company in 1999 after 33 years of dedicated service. Her hard work and kindness touched everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Gibson Jr.; parents, Christ and Margie Hoffer; brother, Melvin Hoffer; sisters, Mildred Ebersole and Velma Fittery; and great-grandson, Jamie Gibson Jr.

Theda’s memory will be carried on through the stories that remind us of her laughter, the life lessons that shaped our values, and the recipes that brought us together around the table. Her wisdom taught us patience and perseverance, her kindness showed us the importance of compassion, and her love for family created traditions that will live on for generations. Every time we share her favorite dishes or recall her gentle advice, we will feel her presence. These moments will continue to bring smiles, comfort, and inspiration to her loved ones.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held at 12 p.m. at Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon.
