Thelda E. Shirk, 93, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Spang Crest Manor. She was the wife of the late Harry A. Shirk.

Born in Jonestown on March 14, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Lena Anspach Gadel.

Thelda retired from Winthrop Lab where she worked in the Coding Dept.

She is survived by her children Miles Shirk of Myerstown, Elizabeth Zoller of Middletown, Cherie Menzel of Lebanon, Barbara Reigle of Lebanon, Gary Shirk of Harrisburg, Louette Ortenzi of NY, and Colby Shirk of Mechanicsburg; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons Harry “Sonny” Shirk, Jr., and Bradley Shirk; daughters Karen Shirk and Thelda Shirk; brothers Walter Gadel and William Gadel and her sister Carrie Gadel.

Services will be at the convenience of the family with interment at Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, Ebenezer.
