Theodore W. “Ted” Smith, 79, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at his home. He was the husband of Kay L. Yeagley Smith. They would have been married 58 years this November.
Born in Lebanon on July 1, 1941, he was the son of the late Rodger W. and Dorothy A. Corl Smith. He had worked as an equipment operator for the PA Fish Commission. Ted was a member of the Northern Lebanon Class of 1959. He was the president of the Blue Ridge Rod & Gun Club. Ted liked red shirts, going to the cabin, camping and especially enjoying a good steak dinner with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Tod Smith, of Fredericksburg, grandchildren, Terry and Royell Smith and Sara and Ryan Lucas, and great-grandson, Tucker Smith.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
