Theresa A. Field, 63, of Myerstown, PA, died on Monday, March 16, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife of David W. Field, who died on Sept. 2, 2024.
Born in Ephrata, PA, on March 25, 1962, she was a daughter of Louise (Althouse) Gettle, of Myerstown, and the late Henry Gettle. Theresa was a 1980 graduate of Tuplehocken High School. She was employed as a pharmaceutical operator at Bayer Corporation, Myerstown, for 25 years. Theresa also worked as a waitress at Dutch-Way Family Restaurant, Myerstown, and Farmer’s Wife Family Restaurant. She loved cats, baby elephants, the color purple, and watching her favorite shows. She enjoyed joking with others and had a witty sense of humor.
In addition to her mother, Theresa is survived by her daughter, Summer Field, wife of Brock Newswanger; son, Benjamin Reigert, companion of Alyssa Kulik; grandchildren, AJ Trite, Noah Trite, Caden Reigert, and Cole Newswanger; sisters, Carol, wife of John Jernigan, Priscilla, wife of Bobby VanDewark, and Anne, wife of Mika Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Lebanon.
