Thomas A. “Tom” Clements, 83, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 16, 2021, at WellSpan-GSH, Lebanon. He was the husband of Joanne E. Salem Clements. On June 19th, they would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Born in Lebanon on June 25, 1937, he was the son of the late Clarence and Catharine Albert Clements. Tom was a 1955 graduate of Lebanon High School. He married his wife in 1956, and they resided in Fredericksburg for over 60 years.
Tom was self-employed as Thomas A. Clements & Sons Construction, Inc., and he loved woodworking. He was a member of the Worship Center in Leola, and he especially enjoyed doing mission work in Guatemala and Honduras. He also had taken some courses at Lancaster Bible College. Tom had been very active with the Fredericksburg Lion’s Club, where he had formerly served as their president. He loved to spend most of his time at their camp and going hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Gina, wife of Michael Groff, of Lebanon, Thomas, husband of Cathy Clements, of Lebanon, Donald, husband of Patty Clements, of Lebanon, Chad, husband of Vonda Clements, of Nevada, TX, and Lori, wife of Nelson Kline, of Lititz, thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
