Tom passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, at Hershey Med, due to complications of diabetes, at the age of 62. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Dorothy Cole, and his older brother, Joesph Cole. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sharon (Kitchen) Cole, and their two fur babies, Monk and Rupa, his brother, Ronald Cole, Sr., and wife, Christine, his sister, Doreen Rullo, and his brother, Gary Cole, and wife, Corinne. He is also survived by his nephew and best friend, Nathaniel Cole, and his longtime best friend, John Geleta.
Born in Harrisburg, PA, at a young age he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He surprised everyone and made a full recovery. He went on to have numerous jobs over the years, most importantly, as a full-time caregiver for his wife. Tom really enjoyed Star Trek, electronics, biking, swimming, kayaking, and flea markets. Most of all, Tom enjoyed making people laugh. He was always sharing jokes and funny photos he found online. He always included everyone and would make you feel like he’s known you for years. A highlight of Tom’s life was his annual beach trip in the summer with his wife, sister, and nephew.
Tom will always be remembered for his sense of humor and caring personality.
